Nickel Diner
With lot's of photos of the disabled and poor people of Downtown Los Angeles, the LA TIMES does a piece on the opening of the NIckel Diner. This diner is located on a block between 5th street and 6th Street on main street. It has good food and good service. It is a great place to eat . Most of the people in the area could not wait to be able to use the place. At the website you can get a nickel bag for breakfast or a dime bag. After reading the LA TImes article it is looking like for the very first time, since moving to downtown los angeles, I will be asking for a dime bag. The Dime bag at the MENU online shows that it is a steak and eggs plate at breakfast time. Sounds like I may need to head over there for breakfast today.
