Parking Day Comes to Downtown
This Friday, September 19th, Winston Street and, other places downtown will become green for a day, This is part of parking day. There will be parks all over the city of Los Angeles. For more information on the parties happening that day please go to www.parkingday.org. Parking day is an open source REBAR invention and the name can only be used for parking day events. I love open source everything and I think anyone putting on open source events should be congratulated. They are doing this in conjunction with the Trust for public LAND and many parts of downtown will be turned into parks to promote the idea of public open space. Personally, I think ,if there is green grass everywhere for at least a day , we are promoting healthy living also that day. It is good for the environment and the air we breathe.........
